Situated on the edge the small town of Greenock in the western Barossa, Greenock Farm is one of the oldest properties in the region. It is the home to ancient shiraz, grenache, mourvedre, semillon, white frontignac, red frontignac, riesling and a touch of tokay. Overlooking the Greenock Creek which meanders through this picturesque valley are more recent plantings of shiraz but one that consistently delivers small parcels of premium quality fruit.
Situated in the village of Krondorf, the St Vincent Vineyard was named after the patron saint of winemaking (and the gulf on which Adelaide is sited). The combination of rich alluvial soils, and cool, nightly gully breezes has helped to build this vineyard’s reputation as a premier location in the Barossa - the fruit from this elevated site has gone into premium wines from other leading Barossa wineries.
Augusta Keil planted her garden near the small village of Krondorf in the 1850’s. Renowned for its beauty, visitors came from far and wide to see this now-lost garden. With its rich red soils it is the site for one of our best Shiraz blocks. Nestling below the Barossa hills, the hundred-year-old Grenache yields fruit with rich opulent notes whilst the Shiraz produces vibrant flavors typical of the Barossa region.
